Join us in helping to create success for a child! Centers for Youth and Families will help you, your family or your organization volunteer to help emotionally and behaviorally-disturbed children who are being served through our agency.
Volunteers to assist with our fund raising events and with other community events in which we participate.
Volunteers are needed to:
- provide manpower during the events
- serve on planning committees
- assist with ticket sales or auction item recruitment
- Back-to-School volunteers to solicit and collect school supplies for the children in our programs.
- Holiday Helper volunteers to solicit and recruit donations and toys for our kids at Christmas.
For over 130 years, Centers for Youth & Families has been dedicated in the important mission of building healthy children, families, and communities throughout Arkansas. CFYF serves thousands each year, offering Outpatient Counseling, Emergency Psychiatric Services, School-Based Therapy, Residential Care, Day Treatment, Therapeutic Foster Care, parent education & resources, and an Emergency Shelter. Many of these children would have no access to the help they need were it not for Centers for Youth & Families
Since 2011, Emerging Leaders have worked together to support children & families who need it the most. Membership is designed to help Young Professionals improve their career, develop leadership abilities, build a network, and give back to the community. Emerging Leaders meet every other month allowing members to receive personal and professional guidance from proven and experienced leaders. They learn about Centers’ mission and programs working to raise awareness about Centers’ throughout the community - including volunteering in Centers’ programs and shelter, giving members the chance to work directly with the children and youth we serve each day.
Champions of Hope
Service. Excellence. Community.
This is what the Champions of Hope achieve in a six month youth leadership program led by the Centers for Youth and Families in Little Rock, AR. If you know a rising High School Junior or Senior, this is an training opportunity they don't want to miss. They will learn more about social and emotional issues facing teens and families today, how to advocate for change, de-stigmatize mental health and hopefully take these life lessons into adulthood and fatherhood.
